This drum sleeve adopts plug welding connection, fitted with Lebus left-hand 65° parallel grooving for wire rope of 15.875mm diameter. It is coated with zinc rich primer on the surface for reliable anti-corrosion performance. Custom manufacturing is available, widely used for winch and lifting equipment to ensure neat and stable wire rope winding.

Matters Need to Attention

• Inspect the welded area of the drum shell before installation to ensure no cracks, pores or other welding defects. Remove burrs inside grooves to prevent wire rope damage.
• Use only Φ15.875mm wire rope. Never use wire rope of mismatched diameter, which will cause abnormal stress and wear on grooves.
• Control lifting load during operation and overload is forbidden. Run low-speed test before formal use to check wire rope feeding condition.
• Regularly check the zinc rich primer coating. Repair coating immediately once damaged to prevent substrate rust. Inspect plug welds for cracks periodically.
• Avoid long-term exposure to strong acid and alkali. Clean the drum after operation to prevent dust and debris accumulation inside grooves.
